Back –to-School in Jackson County.

The summer is quickly coming to a close. School starts here in Jackson County on August 3, 2011. The volunteers at Appalachia Mission of Hope are fervently completing last minute details before our annual back-to-school bash.

As I sit here this morning – I’m reminded of the beautiful hymn “How Great Thou Art.”  I grew up singing these wonderful old hymns. They bring back such sweet memories of my mom and me sitting at the piano and singing for hours on end.
